About	While perusing the dregs of Deadjournal, I came to realize that there really isn't a good bdsm-oriented community. Yes, there is bondagebitches, which isn't bad, but also isn't very lively, and doesn't provide for a lot of sharing of information. I know firsthand the struggle of accepting such "deviant desires" (hence the title), and the confusion that follows. This is Deadjournal's resource for those of us who delve into the "darker side of sexuality" [dramatic music: dun dun dunnnnnnnnnn], and I hope you all will help this community be a success! By no means does being into ONE aspect of BDSM mean that you must be part of all of them; maybe you like being tied, but would never want to be hurt. Maybe you want to call your lover dirty words, but would never use handcuffs on them. BDSM means different things to different people, and it's just as hard for newly discovered submissives as it is for newly discovered dominants -- and everyone in between! Even experienced "players" need some advice from time to time. There are no right or wrong answers in BDSM, no two people (or more, if it suits you) will ever have exactly the same dynamics to their relationships; and that's okay! The only real rule here is to NEVER judge someone else's kinks, because, who knows, you might like it yourself a year from now.
